For a full list of metrics and dimensions available in our Google Ad Manager data source connector, take a look at our Google Ad Manager documentation.

Once you've connected to Google Ad Manager, you're ready to create your first query in Google Sheets, Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), or Excel.

Try these queries

See the following use cases for examples on how to use the metrics and dimensions.

See ad server clicks and impressions

Get data on your ad server clicks and impressions, along with creative, line item, and order details. In this example, we pull data for the month to date, and include the date information.

The "Ad server clicks" metric shows the number of clicks delivered by the ad server. The "Ad server impressions" metric shows the number of impressions delivered by the ad server.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  2. Select the Ad server clicks and Ad server impressions metrics.
  3. Select the Creative, Line item, Order, and Date dimensions to split the query results by these details.

See revenue by hour

Take a look at the revenue generated by the ad servers by hour.

The "Revenue (excluding CPD)" metric shows the total CPM and CPC revenue generated by the ad servers, including line item-level dynamic allocation.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last 7 days.

  3. Select the Hour dimensions to split the query results by hour.

See ad server and ad exchange impressions

Explore your ad server impressions and ad exchange impressions, ad exchange revenue and unfilled impressions. In this example, we take a look at the data from the past 28 days, and break the results by customized criteria and date.

The "Ad server impressions" metric shows the number of impressions delivered by the ad server.

The "Ad Exchange impressions" metric shows the number of impressions an Ad Exchange ad delivered for line item-level dynamic allocation.

The "Ad Exchange revenue" metric shows the revenue generated from Ad Exchange ads delivered for line item-level dynamic allocation.
