About data source accounts

Supermetrics uses the term data source accounts to refer to the account in each data source. For example, Facebook Ads uses "accounts," while Google Analytics uses "views," and Instagram Insights uses "profiles." In Supermetrics, all of them are called data source accounts.

To learn the definition of data source accounts, please see the full list of data source account names.

Choosing your license’s data source account quota

  • Licenses purchased online include 10 data source accounts by default.
  • To use more than 10 data source accounts, please contact our sales team.

Please note that all data sources under the same license share the same number of data source accounts.

For example, if you need 15 Facebook Ads accounts and 10 LinkedIn Ads accounts, you should purchase a license for 15 data source accounts and all data sources will be able to use 15 data source accounts.

You can upgrade the license or contact our Sales team.

Remove data source accounts
  • For Data Studio, follow these instructions.
  • For Google Sheets and Excel:
    - Under Select accounts, views, locations, etc. click on the cross (X) next to the account name. Do not select "all accounts" as that feature will automatically select all your accounts.
Track your license’s quota
  1. Log into the Supermetrics Team Site.
  2. Check you’re in the right team in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Click the License tab.
  4. Find the license you wish to view.
  5. Click Manage.
  6. Navigate to Data sources & Accounts. The data sources you're using will be listed next to the highest daily number of accounts used in each in the last 30 days.

You can track and refresh your data source accounts.
