Before you begin
To connect Supermetrics to AppsFlyer, you need:
- Account admin access
- Two API tokens (V1.0 and V2.0)
- Log in to AppsFlyer.
- Click the email address in the top right corner to open the user menu drop-down.
- Click Security center.
- Under "AppsFlyer API tokens", select Manage your AppsFlyer API tokens.
- Copy both tokens.

Query types
Supermetrics supports 2 report types to fetch performance data of how different marketing channels and user acquisition sources perform.
- Aggregated performance (Pull API) report: Get basic aggregated performance data for your mobile apps. This report is available for all AppsFlyer users.
- Aggregated performance (Master API) report: Fetch more granular data with less restrictive rate limits, including ad group, ad, and keyword splits. The Master API requires a separate subscription, please contact AppsFlyer to gain access. Learn more about the Master API in AppsFlyer's documentation.
Instructions
Make sure you've installed the Supermetrics add-on before you connect.
- Open a new Google Sheets file.
- Navigate to Extensions → Supermetrics → Launch sidebar to open Supermetrics.
- Click Create new query.
- Under Data source, select AppsFlyer.
- Click Start.
- Enter your credentials, including an account name and your tokens, and click Start.
- Click Allow.

Make sure you've connected Supermetrics to Looker Studio before following the steps below.
- Open the Supermetrics Looker Studio data source gallery.
- Navigate to AppsFlyer and click Start free trial.
- You'll see two buttons that read Authorize. If you're using Supermetrics for the first time, click the left-hand one and log in with the Google Account you use with Supermetrics.
- Once that's done, or if you've done it before, click the right-hand Authorize button (under "AppsFlyer requires authorization to connect to data").
- Select a team that has access to the account you want to connect.
- Choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- Enter your credentials, including an account name and your tokens, and click Start.
- Click Allow.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page. To create a report with our template, select Use report template for new reports. To create a blank report, deselect this option.
- In the pane's top right, click Connect.
- Click Create report.
- Click Add to report.

- Click Data → Show Supermetrics.
- Under Data source, select AppsFlyer.
