Yahoo DSP report building guide

Use the Yahoo DSP data source connector to pull all your basic ad metrics such as conversion details, and engagement to a destination of your choice. You can also combine ad metrics with other paid media data to have a full understanding of which campaign and content work the best.

See clicks, impressions, conversions, and cost

Take a look at how many impressions and clicks your ads got last month, and how much it cost.


The "Clicks" metric shows the number of times an ad has been clicked.

The "Conversions" metric shows the total amount of conversions.

The "Cost" metric shows the cost of the ads.

The "Impressions" metric shows the total number of times an ad has been displayed.

The "Viewable impressions" metric shows the total number of times an ad has been displayed while in view.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last month.
  2. Select the Clicks, Conversions, Cost, Impressions, and Viewable impressions metrics.
  3. Select the Ad, Campaign, and Date dimensions to split the query results by ad name, campaign name, and date details.


See clicks and impressions with line and creative

View how many clicks and impressions your ads received along with the line and creative for each ad. In this example, we take a look at the data from the last 7 days.


The "Clicks" metric shows the number of times an ad has been clicked.

The "Impressions" metric shows the total number of times an ad has been displayed.

The "CTR" metric shows the click-through rate for the ad.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last 7 days.
  2. Select the Clicks, Impressions, and CTR metrics.
  3. Select the Ad, Line, and Creative dimensions to include these details in the query results.


See cost details of your campaigns

Take a look at the detailed costs of your ad campaigns and how many clicks, impressions, and costs they've generated. In the example, we examine the data for the year until today. 


The "Clicks" metric shows the number of times an ad has been clicked.

The "Conversions" metric shows the total amount of conversions.

The "Cost" metric shows the cost of the ads.

The "Impressions" metric shows the total number of times an ad has been displayed.

The "CPC" metric shows the cost per click.

The "CPM" metric shows the cost per thousand impressions.

The "CTR" metric shows the click-through rate for the ad.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Year to date.
  2. Select the Clicks, Conversions, Cost, Impressions, CPC, CPM and CTR metrics.
  3. Select the Campaign and Date metrics to split the query results by date and campaign.
