Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) report building guide

Use the Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) data source connector to measure anything from campaign metrics all the way to how opportunities are progressing through the pipeline. Keep your data up to date in the reporting tool of your choice.

See the following use cases for examples on how to set up queries.


See sent and clicked emails

Take a look at how many emails you've sent and how many clicks they've received. In this example, we take a look at the data per email name for the last 28 days.


The "Emails sent" metric shows the number of emails sent.

The "Emails clicked (unique)" metric shows the number of unique recipients who clicked the email.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last 28 days.
  2. Select the Emails sent and Email clicks (unique) metrics.
  3. Select the Email name dimension to split the query results by email name.


See emails sent per campaign

Get data on how many emails you've sent per each campaign. 


The "Emails sent" metric shows the number of emails sent.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last 3 months.
  2. Select the Emails sent metric.
  3. Select the Campaign name dimension to split the query results by the campaign name. 


See email opens and clicks

Take a look at how your email open and click data looks like for the ongoing year. In this example, we examine the data for each month.


The "Emails opened (unique)" metric shows the number of unique recipients who opened the email.

The "Emails clicked (unique)" metric shows the number of unique recipients who clicked the email.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.

  1. Set the date range to This year to date.
  2. Select the Emails opened (unique) and Emails clicked (unique) metrics.
  3. Select the Year & Month dimension to split the query results by month.


See prospect count

Stay updated on your prospects! In this example, we pull the number of prospects for last month and compare the data to the previous month.


The "Prospects" metric shows the number of prospects.


For best results in Looker Studio, use the scorecard chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last month.
  2. Select the Prospects metric.
  3. Set the Comparison date range to Previous period.
