How to use data blending in your data destination

Follow these instructions to use data blends in Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Excel, data warehouse destinations, and Query Manager (the Supermetrics API). Data blending is currently not available in monday.com.

Before you begin

You need to create your data blends on the Supermetrics Hub before they can be used in destinations.


Instructions

Google Sheets
  1. Navigate to Extensions → Supermetrics → Launch sidebar to open Supermetrics.
  2. Click Create new query.
  3. Under Data source, select Data Blending.
  4. Select a connection.
  5. Under Available blends, select a data blend.
  6. Select metrics and dimensions.
  7. Click Get Data to Table.
Looker Studio

If you're using data blending in Looker Studio for the first time:

  1. On the Supermetrics Hub, select TransformData blending in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Use your blends in destinations.
  3. In the popup, click Go to connector to connect the data blend connector to Looker Studio.
  4. In Looker Studio, select a Supermetrics team and click Next
  5. Select a data blend, and click Connect.
  6. Click Create report, and then Add to report.
  7. Select metrics and dimensions.


After connecting data blending to Looker Studio, you can find the data blending data source the same way as other data sources:

  1. In Looker Studio, click Add data.
  2. Select the Data Blending data source by Supermetrics.
  3. Select a team, and click Next.
  4. Select a data blend.
  5. In the pane's top right, click Connect.
  6. Click Create report.
  7. Click Add to report.
  8. Select metrics and dimensions.
Excel
  1. Click Data → Show Supermetrics to open the sidebar.
  2. Under Data source, select Data blending.
  3. Select a connection.
  4. Under Available blends, select a data blend.
  5. Select metrics and dimensions.
  6. Click Get data.
Query Manager (API)
  1. On the Supermetrics Hub, go to API.
  2. Select Data Blending as the data source.
  3. Select a connection.
  4. Under Available blends, select a data blend.
  5. Select metrics and dimensions.
  6. Click Run.
