Criteo: Authentication and reauthentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Criteo with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Microsoft Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API. 


Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Criteo, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a valid API user with Client ID and Client Secret
  • Have an app with at least Read access for all elements of the Marketing API. To create these credentials, follow these instructions

Please note that if you're logged with an old Criteo app, you'll need to log out of the data source completely and log back again. To install a new app, follow these steps

Google Sheets Data Studio  Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate the data source in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file. 
  2. Click Add-ons → Supermetrics → Launch to open the sidebar.
  3. Under Data source, select Criteo.
  4. Click Start.
  5. Enter your Criteo client ID and Criteo client secret, and click Start
  6. Under Select accounts, select the accounts.
