AdRoll: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate AdRoll with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.


Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Adroll, you need Administrator or General User role access. Learn how to add or edit an AdRoll user in AdRoll's documentation


For Excel users

If your team uses Supermetrics for Excel, you'll see different options for managing and sharing data source connections in that destination. Learn more.


Instructions

Google Sheets Data Studio  Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate the data source in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file. 
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Click Create query.
  4. Under Data source, select AdRoll
  5. Click Start.
  6. Enter your email address and password, and click Sign in.
  7. Select your accounts.

Troubleshooting
