HubSpot: Authentication and reauthentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate HubSpot in Supermetrics with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Microsoft Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.

Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to HubSpot, you need:

Here’s an example of sufficient user permissions:

Data refresh

A HubSpot account can contain a very large amount of data. To improve performance, Supermetrics caches this data, which means that it might take some time to complete the import when you first connect Supermetrics to HubSpot.

The initial import could take days, depending on the size of the account. Once it’s completed, HubSpot will import data once per day. This means you’ll need to wait for the next daily import to finish if you’re looking for data — on deals or contacts, for example — that’s been modified since the last import.

Custom properties

The Supermetrics HubSpot connector supports custom properties for Contacts, Companies, Tickets, Products, Line items, and Deals.

If the custom properties are not appearing, use Supermetrics’ monitoring tool check that the last successful import that included your custom properties.

If the import has been completed but you still don’t see the properties in Supermetrics, refresh your account data.
