Changes to Pinterest Organic connector

Due to Pinterest upgrading its reporting data API, Supermetrics is releasing a new and improved version of the Pinterest Organic data source connector. In this article, we highlight the similarities and differences between our old and new Pinterest Organic data source connectors and how to start using the new connector.


All Supermetrics users who have Pinterest Organic in their license will automatically get access to the new connector.


What's happening

  • On June 1, 2023, the old connector is renamed to "Pinterest Organic (legacy)" and will stop gathering data after June 30, 2023.
  • On June 1, 2023, a new connector named "Pinterest Organic" is made available to replace the old one.

What you need to do

The features of the new data source connector closely match those of the old one. However, due to major changes in the underlying reporting API of Pinterest, you need to create a connection to Pinterest with the new connector.
