This article applies to these errors from the LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Pages connectors for either Supermetrics for Google Sheets or Data Studio connectors:
- Error: The token used in the request has expired
- Community connector error: Error: LinkedIn Ads failure () (Supermetrics request ID: xxxx). If the problem persists report an issue with the connector owner.
- Account Fetch error: Error: no account objects selected
- You need to reauthenticate at <link>, then run the query again.
LinkedIn changed their API policy to only keep authentication tokens alive for 60 days. If the user has not re-authenticated to LinkedIn in a while, this is usually the cause for the errors above as the token is now stale. To fix the issue, you need to re-authenticate the connector so that a fresh token can be created. You will also need to periodically re-authenticate the connector before the token is expired to prevent the errors in the future.
